ING Luxembourg is proud to contribute to the organisation of the ING Tunnellaf, a unique and unusual race since it will take place only once, on 13 September 2015, on the new section of motorway A7 between Lorentzweiler and Luxembourg

I want to thank not only the authorities that have made it possible to organise the event, but also the FLA for the good cooperation between us. It is with pleasure that ING supports this event and I am obviously already looking forward to be part of this great, festive sports event. I therefore invite all running enthusiasts to join me on 13 September and already wish them a lot of fun in discovering the new tunnel

The ING Tunnellaf is an event that fits in well with the bank’s sponsoring policy, which is based on two strategic pillars: art and culture on the one hand, and sport, mainly football, handball and running on the other hand.

ING has supported running events for many years and is therefore already well present in this sport in the Grand Duchy, since it also sponsors the following races:     

  • The famous ING Night Marathon since its creation, the 10th edition of which will take place on 30 May
  • The no less famous ING Route du Vin for two years
  • The ING Trail Uewersauer in Heiderscheid
  • And also the ING Eurocross in Diekirch

Supporting an event as unique as the Tunnellaf once again shows ING’s determination to stand out and be innovative, even in its sponsoring activities.

Strengthened position and local presence confirmed!
This new cooperation between the Luxembourg Athletics Federation (FLA) and ING is beneficial for both parties and enables ING to further strengthen its positioning in running worldwide.

Furthermore, the sponsoring of this family event confirms ING’s determination to take an active part in the community the bank belongs to.

Such a partnership enables ING to consolidate its position in the Grand Duchy and thereby create closeness to the public, the participants and the local authorities.
