  • 2023 Deloitte New Partners Managing Directors

Deloitte Luxembourg recently announced the appointment of 17 Partners and Managing Directors, effective from 1st June 2023.

John Psaila, CEO and Managing Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg, remarked, "To remain at the forefront of our clients' rapidly changing needs in an increasingly complex business landscape, we remain steadfast in our commitment to investing in top-tier talent. Our newly appointed Partners and Managing Directors have demonstrated unwavering dedication to upholding our values of quality, integrity, and excellence. This will not only enable us to maintain consistent and sustained growth in the coming years, but also propel us towards even greater achievements."

These appointments bring the total number of Partners and Managing Directors at the Firm to 160, bolstering the partnership overseeing Deloitte Luxembourg's 2,700 professionals, and highlighting the Firm's trust in its talented professionals, their subject matter expertise, and its unique multidisciplinary approach.

New Partners

Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed the following professionals to Partner:

Avelino Alvarez Suarez (Audit & Assurance) has extensive experience in large group audits and internal controls, and is an expert in IFRS, Spanish, and Lux accounting standards. He is a member of the Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas in Spain and a Réviseur d’entreprises.

Julien Baguet (Advisory & Consulting) supports asset managers in increasing their operational efficiency in areas such as FX hedging, swing pricing, and regulatory reporting. He co-leads the Firm’s PRIIPS and MiFID II Operate team and is a member of EFAMA and ALFI on Swing Pricing, PRIIPs, and MiFID II.

Aylin Cam (Tax) has more than 15 years of professional experience in domestic and international VAT advisory and compliance services to companies operating in various sectors, including PERE companies, banks, investment funds, and insurance companies.

Alexandre Havard (Advisory & Consulting) is involved in several projects on interbanking mutualisation and operations outsourcing. He leads the Firm’s Payments practice and is Vice-Chair of the ABBL Payments Cluster and Chair of the Digital Economy and Open Finance working group.

Hélène Létudais (Tax) focuses on serving private equity, real estate, and private debt clients. She has over 16 years of experience in Luxembourg direct tax compliance.

Julien Marquet (Advisory & Consulting) specializes in M&A services, transaction services, and valuation services. He works closely with financial sponsors and strategic clients active in financial services or in infrastructure.

Jérémy Pages (Audit & Assurance) specializes in bank audits as well as accounting and reporting advisory services. A Réviseur d'entreprises, French Chartered Accountant, and Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance, he is a member of the OEC/CNC Accounting Commission and ABBL Accounting Committee.

Abderrahmane Saber (Advisory & Consulting) focuses on serving banking clients in their business transformation journey, specializing in core operations transformation with in-depth expertise in process design and reengineering.

Guillaume Scaffe (Advisory & Consulting) focuses on regulatory operations, compliance, change management, digital transformation, and cross-border distribution for asset managers and management companies. He develops RegTech products and services, as well as market intelligence tools.

Laureline Senequier (Advisory & Consulting) is a digital risk and resilience expert specializing in ICT risk management, outsourcing, cloud computing and IT audit for the financial sector. She holds CISA, CIPP/E, ISO27001, ITIL v3, and Prince2 certifications and serves as board member of ISACA Luxembourg.

Massimo Simioni (Audit & Assurance) has 12 years of audit experience in Luxembourg and Italy serving clients in the alternatives industry and commercial sector. He is a Réviseur d’entreprises, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a Certified Internal Auditor.

Philipp Stork (Audit & Assurance) is an auditor specialized in the audits of real estate structures under Lux-GAAP and IFRS. Within the Real Estate Valuation Desk, he is responsible for specialist advice, training, and quality management.

Sascha Voigt (Audit & Assurance) specializes in the audit of management companies and funds investing in a broad range of asset classes. He holds the ACCA Practising Certificate and is engaged in working groups of ALFI and ILA.

New Managing Directors

Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed the following individuals to Managing Director:

Ronald Cornelisse (Audit & Assurance) has over 20 years of experience serving public companies, with a strong focus on complex audits and assurance mandates for multinational firms. He is a Dutch Chartered Accountant, a Réviseur d’entreprises and a Certified Internal Auditor with a Certification in Risk Management Assurance.

Walter Lasnel (Operations) has over 24 years of experience in financial and shared services management and organizational transformation. He currently serves as Chief Transformation Officer, overseeing major transformation projects that aim to increase efficiency and agility of the Firm’s internal services.

Gaia Visconti (Audit & Assurance) serves as Deputy Quality Leader for audit oversight, managing relationships with external regulators. She is a fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Réviseur d'entreprises.

Managing Director who recently joined the Firm

Deloitte Luxembourg has welcomed the following individual in 2023:

Claude Boulanger (Operations) is the Firm’s Technology Transformation Lead. With over 25 years of experience in various transformation and technology-oriented roles, his expertise spans processes, service, and performance management in technological domains.
