IEE receives Yanfeng Automotive Interiors award for outstanding achievement

IEE is proud to announce that on Wednesday 2nd March 2016, the company was presented with the Leadership Award in the Innovation category from Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (formerly Johnson Controls Interiors).

The company received the award for its collaboration on a new heated armrest for door panels that will be used in Yanfeng Automotive Interiors’ (YFAI) vehicles.

Dr. Claus Kedenburg, Executive Vice President Commercial and Head of Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development at IEE, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.

“We pride ourselves on developing innovative sensing solutions,” says Dr. Kedenburg. “We work closely with our customers to tailor our sensing systems to meet their specific requirements – as was the case here.

“Receiving an award recognizing the outstanding support provided by our project team from the world’s largest supplier of automotive interior fittings, is a huge honor and I would like to congratulate the team involved for all of their hard work.”
