Carlos Cipollitti joined Goodyear in 1984 and has held a variety of technical and managerial roles in Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to his current assignment, Cipollitti’s career path with the company includes Project Manager Radial Truck Tire Development in Akron, Ohio, USA, and Manager Quality and Manufacturing Services Asia Pacific, based in Luxembourg, As regional Director Technology Quality and Product Development, Cipollitti was instrumental in the start-up of Goodyear’s new manufacturing plant for consumer and truck tires in Pulandian, China.

Cipollitti is American, but grew up in Venezuela. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela and an MBA in Management from Walsh University in Ohio. He is married and father of three children.

Carlos Cipolliti replaces Jean-Pierre Jeusette, who has been appointed to the position of Vice President Product Quality and Plant Technology, based in Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Akron.
