APATEQ continues produced water treatment demonstration program in the USA
APATEQ currently runs an on-site produced water treatment program in North America, presenting its game-changing and cost-effective proprietary process technology. The next demonstration will take place in Spring / TX from June 15 – 18, 2015. Interested parties are invited to announce their participation by simple no-engagement subscription
Last year Luxembourg-based clean-tech and water / wastewater specialist APATEQ started an on-demand, on-site produced water treatment program with its proprietary oil-water separation technology in North America. After successful demonstrations in Pratt / KS and Spring / TX, the road show continues with a four days lasting demonstration at the premises of APATEQ’s cooperation partner in the USA, the company Radial Drilling in Spring / TX, starting on June 15.
By means of a combination of APATEQ’s proprietary pre-treatment unit (for oil and TSS removal up to 90%) with a field proven, proprietary ultrafiltration post-treatment module, produced water is polished with a removal rate of total suspended solids and free and emulsified oil up to almost 100% (< 1-2 ppm level). Using specially conditioned organic or ceramic membranes, the APATEQ solution enables long-term and reliable operation in the field without clogging of the membranes. Capable of treating 2,000 or 4,000 barrels/day, APATEQ’s oil-water separation system “OilPaq” is available in mobile and containerized format utilizing standard ISO shipping containers. Stationary plants for 10,000 and up to 20,000 barrels/day are available on demand.
In addition to the already existing North American customer base, the APATEQ program is open to new participants by a simple no-engagement subscription. All interested parties may communicate their participation by mail at or by phone at +352 20 211 680 1.
