When I took over this temporary responsibility, it didn’t take me long to feel amazed of the entrepreneurial spirit among the management team and the 150 employees. It was an easy decision to take over the leadership to help this team in realizing its ambitions and re-enforce the company’s innovating image in the Luxembourg telecommunication market

Werner De Laet, CEO Orange Luxembourg

Already CEO ad interim since January 2013, he stated: “When I took over this temporary responsibility, it didn’t take me long to feel amazed of the entrepreneurial spirit among the management team and the 150 employees. “It was clear for the board of directors of the Mobistar group that Werner was the right candidate to lead Orange Luxembourg and to assure it remains one of the growth poles of the overall Mobistar strategy.  It is also the best thing he could do for his personal development”, said Jean Marc Harion, CEO of the Mobistar group and president of the board of directors of Orange Luxembourg.

Werner De Laet will continue his double role until the next General Assembly of shareholders takes place on 2nd May, 2013: until that date he will remain Chief Financial Officer of the Mobistar group and CEO ad interim of Orange Luxembourg.
