Agreement between ING and the European Investment Bank (EIB)
A loan of 200 million euros in order to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Benelux!
In this period of crisis, it is essential that small and medium-sized enterprises have access to means that allow them to finance their investments and seize new opportunities
Rik Vandenberghe, CEO ING Luxembourg
For the fourth time in three years and a half, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and ING came to an agreement on loans to small and medium-sized enterprises in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. 200 million euros are made available via an ING credit programme.
This agreement means that Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourg entrepreneurs will be allowed to borrow at a very attractive rate.
The loan granted by the European Investment Bank enables companies to cover their investments at 100%, up to 12.5 million euros maximum per project.
“In this period of crisis, it is essential that small and medium-sized enterprises have access to means that allow them to finance their investments and seize new opportunities”, says Rik Vandenberghe, CEO ING Luxembourg.
“We are very happy that the European Investment Bank gave us, once again, the opportunity to support our SME clients from the Greater Region, especially since ING wants to keep being more present locally, by increasingly investing in the local economy, in the development of the Luxembourg economy. For our clients, this aid from the European Investment Bank is more than welcome and they are very grateful for that”.
