Developing the customer experience of its passengers on board is at the heart of Luxair's concerns. This is why the airline is launching its new Inflight Entertainment platform. For the entertainment of young and old alike, this new offer includes a, wide range of free audio-visual content to all ages such as movies, daily news, sitcoms, cartoons, games and Luxair brochures accessible on smartphones, tablets or laptops. All these contents dedicated to entertainment are currently available on 4 of its Wi-Fi equipped Boeing aircraft. Gradually, Luxair will extend its new Inflight Entertainment platform to all the other Boeing aircraft of its fleet.

Thanks to the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) system, Luxair passengers travelling on board equipped flights will be able to connect to the platform free of charge using their own electronic devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone) and benefit from the various contents, all accessible free of charge. To allow everyone to be entertained, Luxair’s Inflight Entertainment platform is available in 3 languages: French, English and German.

How does it work?

Upon arrival on board, after activating the airplane mode of their device, Luxair passengers will be able to access the entertainment platform. Once connected, passengers on the flights concerned will be able to connect throughout the flight, except at times when the use of electronic devices is prohibited, in order to comply with safety instructions.

Luxair's new Inflight Entertainment offer is divided into four different sections, giving passengers, young and old, a wide variety of entertainment in the skies:

• Play : Through this section, Luxair passengers will be able to find the entire library of audiovisual content, as detailed below:
  • RTL*Play: Daily news, sitcoms, cartoons and moreare available in this section.
  • Movies: the video library is made up of recent films as well as cinema classics. Each trimester, 4 new films will be added to the selection.
  • Games: over 30 games are available.
  • Inflight magazine: for even more Inflight Entertainment, passengers can now read Luxair Inflight magazine in digital format.
• My flight: in addition to the wide range of Inflight Entertainment mentioned above, Luxair is now offering its passengers a new service that allows them to see live information about their flight, such as the remaining flight time or the expected arrival time at their destination. They can also follow their flight in real time on map.
• Destinations: this dedicated section provides Luxair passengers with all the necessary information regarding the destinations served by the airline.
• About Us: the "About us" section provides passengers with information about Luxair and its fleet, as well as LuxairTours brochures, available in digital format.
