Telindus and Anapaya will connect Luxembourg to the global SCiON-network
Telindus, a major B2B Telecom & ICT provider, joins its forces with the SCiON provider Anapaya. Through this collaboration, Telindus will be the first player to offer SCiON architecture in Luxembourg, thereby offering greater network flexibility, better control, and improved reliability for their customers in Luxembourg and abroad.
Solving today’s most pressing networking challenges
The SCiON technology (Scalability, Control, and Isolation On Next-Generation Networks), which has been developed at ETH Zürich, solves the common networking challenges which are part of the current Internet or of traditional MPLS networks. This new connectivity solution combines the openness and flexibility of Internet with the security and resilience of a private network, eliminating the risks of network cyber-attacks towards its users.
By setting up a secure connection over multiple networks, sensitive data can be safely exchanged within an ecosystem. It also helps its users to protect the data integrity by keeping them within chosen jurisdictions. In this way SCiON raised the standards of the interbanking communication network in Switzerland and has proven to be superior in terms of flexibility, reliability and functionality, thereby bringing business continuity to a new level.
Building on its extensive expertise in the field of connectivity and with the support of Anapaya, Telindus will establish the first connections in Luxembourg to the global SCiON Internet.
Furthermore, through this collaboration, Financial Institutions in both Luxembourg and Switzerland will now be able to interconnect using SCiON, the same technology that powers the new Secure Swiss Finance Network (SSFN).
“We are very proud that with this collaboration we will put Luxembourg on the global map of Anapaya’s SCiON-enabled network so that our customers can control their sensitive and confidential data communications,” says Proximus Luxembourg - Telindus CEO Gérard Hoffmann.
“This strategic collaboration with Telindus is a great milestone for us, as we continue to expand our network capabilities outside of Switzerland and better serve our internationally-active customers in the financial industry.” says Anapaya CEO Martin Bosshardt.
