Doctena is the European leader for online medical booking based on a tailor-made cloud agenda solution for medical practices.

The co-founder of Doctena, Alain Fontaine, has been sharing his technological expertise as a board member since 2013.
And this is not his first project: also founder of Vesperia, specialised in web development and PHP language, he has more recently assumed the function of IT manager within the atHome Group society. He now intends to invest his full attention in the medical booking platform.

The new CIO of Doctena is very enthusiastic about his new responsibilities: “The e-Health sector, and more specifically Doctena, involve several challenges that I have at heart: a strong international growth, a high level of scalability and security, and the integration of heterogeneous systems and IT technologies. I look forward to leveraging more than 20 years of experience in order to shape the technology of this innovative project that will soon be part of our daily life!”

Doctena never stopped growing geographically: since its launch in Luxembourg, it is now also active in several other European countries. Namely, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. This brings along new challenges. Unquestionably, Doctena now requires a global approach and an IT strategy that guarantees that the tools it offers to patients and health professionals, remain reliable and secure.
