Belgians vote for Luxembourg airport!
Luxembourg Airport topped a satisfaction survey conducted in late 2013 with passengers from various European airports and airlines. The results were published this month by the Magazine “Test Achats”. The survey was conducted by six consumer associations in Belgium who focused on the overall passenger satisfaction.
Facing 35 different European competitors with a score of 80 out of 100, the Airport of Luxemburg climbs on top of this ranking alongside the Airport of Munich.
10 different criteria were considered (access to public transport, parking, screens, security controls, toilets, shops and dining areas, boarding gates, boarding areas), strong factors of the airport include its parking available to passengers, screens for flight indications and ease of boarding.
World Airport Award 2014
Luxembourg Airport also achieved a very good score in the annual survey conducted by Skytrax World Airport Awards. This award evaluates the satisfaction of passengers worldwide, based on 39 different criteria such as boarding, shopping, online registration, etc..
12 million passengers voted this year for 410 different airports worldwide.
In the category of “Airports less than 5 million passengers”, Luxembourg achieves a position in the top 10: in 9th place just behind Airports like London City or Durban in Australia.
