Public sector strikes in Germany this 27 March 2014: confirmed cancellations and delays on the Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg routes

Due to a public sector strike across Germany this Thursday 27 March, major disruptions and flight cancellations are to be expected for Luxair passengers travelling to or from Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich as well as for Luxair passengers transiting through these airports.

Following flights to and from Frankfurt have already been cancelled:

LG9301 LUX-FRA : 6h45-7h35
LG9302 FRA-LUX : 9h20-10h05
LG9303 LUX-FRA : 10h40-11h30
LG9304 FRA-LUX : 12h50-13h35

To remedy this situation, Luxair will increase its capacities on LG9305 (LUX-FRA: 14h20 - 15H10) and LG9306 (FRA-LUX: 17h00 - 17h45) flights by operating a Boeing B737-700 (141 seats) instead of an Embraer ERJ (49 seats). Concerned passengers may opt for this free of charge solution as from now. Ticket refunds are also possible according to tickets conditions applying.

All passengers with a Luxair ticket for a Frankfurt, Hamburg or Munich flight on 27 March, may change their booking free of charge for a new flight until 30 June 2014 (last return).
