Rajita D'Souza, Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe vice president Human Resources, said: “Having been again named a Top Performer in HR across Europe by such a well-known independent institute is an excellent achievement. It recognizes our continued commitment to provide an outstanding working environment throughout the organization to attract and retain highly motivated, engaged and skilled associates. In today’s economic environment we can only innovate, manufacture and market the industry’s best products if we have the best people on board.”

“We highly appreciate this nomination for Goodyear Dunlop Luxembourg. I believe that Goodyear’s biggest strength is the pride of our associates in their work. The commitment they show to deliver the highest quality and to work with honesty, integrity and respect with their colleagues makes our culture very special,” added Silvia Sitzen, HR Manager for Goodyear Dunlop Luxembourg.

“We value our associates’ safety above all. We also encourage and support our associates to grow within the company in line with their talents and motivations. For some people this means using the many coaching and training opportunities on offer to improve their leadership or technical skills. For others this means taking full advantage of the opportunities that our international business can offer. In fact, the multinational aspect of day-to-day life at Goodyear is often cited by associates as one of the reasons they enjoy working with company.”

The Top Employers Institute awards its Top Employer certification to participating organizations that demonstrate “the highest standards of employee offerings”. The certification process is based on the outcome of the Institute’s HR Best Practices Survey that assesses each organization’s HR environment in the specific areas of strategy, policy implementation, monitoring and communication of employee conditions and development. An independent audit is performed on the survey results as part of the evaluation process.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, the company, previously known as the CRF Institute, has recognized Top Employers around the world since 1991. David Plink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute: “Over the years, we have assessed and certified companies the world over using our proprietary methodology. We strongly value our objectivity, independence and selectivity. As a result, current and prospective employees can trust upon the certified organizations to have excellent conditions in place for their people to develop.”
