D.Law, led by Jean-Philippe Drescher, a Luxembourg Bar qualified attorney, recently welcomed Martin Michard as head of its banking and finance division.
Martin has extensive experience in structured finance, securitisation, bank lending, capital markets, insolvency and restructuring, as well as in corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining D.Law, he worked in two major Luxembourg law firms for an aggregate period of eight years.
Martin holds an LL.M. in European business law from the University of Heidelberg (Germany) and a post-graduate degree (D.E.S.S.) in real estate law, as well as a Master's degree in business law from the University of Strasbourg (France). He was further admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2006.
Jean-Philippe Drescher commented, ‘I am very pleased to welcome Martin to our team and I trust that he will help us continue to develop our services on the market.’
Martin further stated, ‘It is a great opportunity and privilege to join D.Law and I look forward to being part of, and provide for, the firm’s development and to contributing to its growth with a dedicated team.’
