IQ-EQ names new Managing Director for Ireland
Global investor services provider, IQ-EQ, announces Paul Giblin as the new Managing Director for Ireland.
Paul joined IQ-EQ in 2022 as Managing Director of IQ EQ Fund Management (Ireland) Limited through an acquisition, in which he was responsible for driving the growth of the Group’s acquired funds business in Ireland. In his new role, he will work closely with the wider regional leadership team to implement strategic growth plans and strengthen IQ-EQ as a market leader within the region.
Paul has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector, specialising in capital markets, wealth management and fund services. He started his career as an equity derivatives trader for Merrill Lynch, working in both London and Zurich. He reached the position of Director in the equity derivatives division before returning to Ireland as Head of Alternative Investments for Davy.Paul held a number of senior roles at Davy and most recently at Davy Global Fund Management where he was Managing Director. .
Commenting on Paul’s appointment, John Legrand, IQ-EQ’s Regional CEO of UK, Ireland and the Crown Dependencies, said:
