Edith Magyarics to join PwC Luxembourg as Head of Operations Design and Product innovation
As clear evidence that innovation is high on its agenda, PwC Luxembourg is pleased to announce that in early January 2022, Edith Magyarics will join the firm as the Managing Director, Head of Operations Design and Product innovation.
Edith is well known in Luxembourg and already has a distinguished career. Most recently she was the Chief Executive Officer at Victor Buck Services for almost 10 years. In addition, Edith served as Board Member at Victor Buck Services Asia, Seqvoia and The Fedil-ICT. She is also one of the co-founders of the Women Cyber Force Luxembourg.
Previous positions include working at the Morgan Guaranty Trust Company, the Bank of New York Mellon, JP Morgan Asset Management Europe in Luxembourg. After a decade where she successively held several positions in Client Services, Transfer Agency, Vendor Management and Product Delivery, she brought her expertise to ING Investment Management, Luxembourg. Appointed as COO, she quickly became Manco and Fund Board Director.
In May 2012, her sound international experience and solid management expertise guided her to Victor Buck Services to pursue the journey started by the two founders to develop the CCM activity, support the international expansion of the company and bring innovative ideas in the digital space. There she was known for pushing for diversification and seeking new business opportunities.
“I am delighted to make this move and the transition should be a smooth one as I already have a long standing relationship with PwC. This new role offers me the opportunity to do something different, but even more than this, it is the innovation aspect that really motivates me. Innovation is really one of my drivers. It’s in my DNA. I look forward to developing new ideas that not only meet the requirements of clients but help them to realise their dreams.” Edith Magyarics
Edith will report to François Génaux, Advisory Leader of PwC Luxembourg, who said: “As Advisory leader of PwC I am immensely proud to welcome Edith to our team. We are investing heavily in innovation and the development of new services, in particular in Asset and Wealth Management and in the Alternatives area. Edith is bringing a tremendous experience of those sectors, a well recognised sense of innovation coupled with a deep operational and market knowledge of those industries. Whether it is on pure innovation projects for PwC internally or for our clients or to support the fast growing development of our managed services, Edith is going to be a key asset.”
