ING News: ING is coming!
As some have already noticed when passing through Place de la Gare in Luxembourg City, the new ING Luxembourg head offices have been proudly sporting their orange colour since mid-March in order to announce the bank’s arrival in this central district of the city.
Indeed, on 1 March, ING took possession of the majority of the 14,600 sq.m. of office space in the building located at 26 Place de la Gare. And on 27 March, the bank’s employees started to move in, with the procedure set to take place in waves until the end of April. The bank now has a new head office in a prime location, as well as an integrated branch that is due to open on 18 April.
Moving into the new head office will enable ING to regroup all of its 700 or so employees—as well as its commercial and administrative activities—at one site as opposed to the four central buildings in which they are currently located in Luxembourg City. With the station right next door and access to a wide range of transportation methods, the new occupants will enjoy an unrivalled level of mobility.
