Natalia Hernandez Garcia has been promoted to Senior Associate. With an international education and admitted to the Bar of Madrid and Luxembourg, Natalia specialises in investment funds and management companies. She deals with SIFs, SICARs, UCITS, AIFMs, investment management companies and unregulated vehicles and also focuses on setting up management companies and advising them throughout their existence.

Marie Casanova has been appointed Senior Associate. She is experienced in all areas of Corporate and M&A with a focus on acquisitions, divestments of companies and takeovers. She has been involved in complex corporate and financing transactions as well. Her area of expertise also covers capital markets and banking and financial matters.

In BSP’s tax team, Daniel Riedel and Pol Mellina were named Senior Associate. Both work in the area of Luxembourg and international tax law for private individuals and corporates. A former Senior International Tax Consultant in a major tax and accounting services firm, Daniel advises on the whole range of tax issues arising in corporate and finance based transactions, while Pol, who joined BSP's Tax department in 2014 and qualified as a Luxembourg lawyer the same year, focuses on cross-border transactions and tax litigation.

Two lawyers have been appointed as Associates. They are Viktoria Sourlagka who focuses on investment fund matters and related transactions and Melvin Tjon Akon, a member of the Banking & Finance and Capital Markets teams with a special interest in Fintech matters.
