BIL appoints new Head of Wealth Management
Banque Internationale à Luxembourg SA (BIL) appoints a new Head of Wealth Management as it continues to develop its private banking activities in Luxembourg and in a defined number of target markets
Hans-Peter Borgh is appointed, as of 5 November 2015, Head of Wealth Management and joins BIL’s Management Board (subject to regulatory approval). He succeeds Adrian Leuenberger who held the position since May 2013. Hans-Peter Borgh’s mission will be to develop BIL’s private banking activities in Luxembourg and in the selected number of target markets defined as part of the BIL2020 strategy.
Hans-Peter Borgh, age 42, of Dutch nationality, holds a Master in Business Administration. Prior to joining BIL he was Chief Commercial Officer for Private Banking Asia & Middle East at ABN AMRO. Before that, Hans-Peter Borgh was Regional Head Affluent Banking Asia Pacific at ANZ. He started his career at ABN AMRO in 1997 where he held different positions in retail and private banking in Europe mainly, including Switzerland.
