  • “Local to Global” Expo to take place in Berlin on 6 October 2015
  • Ten finalists to present their innovative business case to potential international business partners and investors
  • Deadline for applications: 1 September 2015

Peter Hoffmann, Head of PwC's Accelerator Germany, commented: “We are looking for fast-growing companies providing disruptive B2B or B2B2C enterprise software solutions that contribute to maximise business productivity, operations and organisation. As an innovation and technology hub, Berlin provides the ideal venue for this Expo.”

Laurent Probst, partner at PwC Luxembourg and PwC's Accelerator Network Global Leader added: “The companies we select will showcase innovative, cost effective, user centric and easy to implement solutions. By attending the Expo, multinationals will make the most of those companies’ solutions that are going to revolutionise tomorrow’s economy.”

Since 2012, the “Local to Global” Expos have put on stage +100 rising stars. These events provide fast growing companies with a forum to pitch and meet the relevant stakeholders that can help them expand their footprint globally.

All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee of independent jurors who will select the ten finalists. PwC will invite those top companies to participate in a coaching programme to gear up for the final presentations in Berlin on 6 October.

Companies can apply online for a chance to present their business case by 1 September 2015.  To be taken into consideration, all applicants should meet following criteria: an internationally oriented management, turnover of over €10 million and, if possible, initial experience on international markets. Particularly, fast-growing companies in the areas of cyber security, enterprise software, business process modeling, Big Data and predictive analytics are encouraged to submit their applications.

Selection process and conditions are available on PwC’s Accelerator website.
