PwC Luxembourg, the leading professional services firm in the country, extends its accounting services, established 15 years ago, to regulated vehicles in response to market demands by launching PwC Alternative Fund Services, a CSSF-certified “Professional of the Financial Sector”.
PwC Alternative Fund Services provides fund administration and accounting (e.g. NAV computation and consolidation, preparation of annual accounts), transfer agent, domiciliation, and reporting services. The team will designate a Client Relationship Manager as single point of contact to coordinate with all counterparties involved, such as the Custodian Bank, local accountants, lawyers, the tax advisor, and management. This extension of the current accounting services to regulated vehicles signals the firm’s strength in and commitment to serving the Alternative Investment industry in Luxembourg.
“There is significant demand for fund accounting services and support in the context of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive. Making the most of our expertise in alternative fund vehicles across our audit, tax, and advisory practices, we provide the services and capabilities our clients need as they face new regulations and increasing market complexity,” says Luc Trivaudey, partner and co-leader of PwC Alternative Fund Services.
“We aim to contribute to the overall quality of the financial reporting and compliance of the alternative fund sector in Luxembourg through our service offering, paying special attention to customer service,” adds Pierre Donis, partner and co-leader of PwC Alternative Fund Services.
PwC Alternative Fund Services will benefit from the knowledge and experience PwC has acquired in the field of alternative funds (real estate, private equity, infrastructure and debt funds), and will strive to contribute to the overall success of the alternative sector in the marketplace.
