The firm, which currently employs over 2,300 people, rewards their drive for excellence and dedication and reaffirms its long-term confidence in the future of Luxembourg's economy and marketplace.

This group of new partners represents all service lines, including Cécile Liégeois, Björn Ebert, Bertrand Jaboulay, Malik Lekehal and Pierre Mallet in the Audit practice, Caroline Goemaere, BEPS (Base erosion and profit shifting) Leader in the Tax practice and Thierry Kremser in IT consulting.

 

  • Cécile Liégeois - Audit Partner : Cécile Liégeois has been with PwC Luxembourg since 1999. She is an expert in the external audit of entities of the financial sector, mainly in the banking industry (private banking and custodian), other professionals of the financial sector (investment firms, support and specialised PFS), management companies and investment funds. She is a qualified “réviseur d’entreprises” (registered auditor).
  • Björn Ebert - Audit Partner : With 13 years of experience, Björn Ebert has been involved in the auditing of banks and investment companies in Luxembourg and Germany. He specialises in the audit of companies in the financial sector under Lux GAAP, German GAAP and IFRS. He is a qualified “réviseur d’entreprises” (registered auditor).
  • Bertrand Jaboulay - Audit Partner : Bertrand Jaboulay has been with PwC Luxembourg since 2001. With over 15 years of experience in auditing funds in Luxembourg, he is an expert in Alternative and UCITS funds. He is a qualified “réviseur d’entreprises” (registered auditor).
  • Malik Lekehal - Audit Partner : Since joining PwC in 2005, Malik Lekehal has been in charge of audits for International structures, Private Equity and operational companies under Luxembourg accounting principles or IFRS. He is a qualified “réviseur d’entreprises” (registered auditor).
  • Pierre Mallet - Audit Partner : Pierre Mallet has been with PwC Luxembourg since 1999. He is an an expert in auditing Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity. He gained significant experience in numerous international clients’ assignments performed under Lux GAAP or IFRS. He is a qualified “réviseur d’entreprises” (registered auditor).
  • Caroline Goemaere - Tax Partner, BEPS Leader : Caroline Goemaere has 14 years of professional experience in advising multinational groups on Transfer Pricing and International Taxation. Currently she focuses on Transfer Pricing for the Financial Services industry and in particular the Asset Management industry. Before joining PwC Luxembourg in 2012, she has worked in Brussels and New York.
  • Thierry Kremser - Advisory Partner, IT Consulting : Thierry Kremser has been with PwC Luxembourg since 2004. Expert in IT Strategy and in the quality and efficiency of IT departments, he has managed innovation and transformation programs for the Public Sector and European Union Institutions among other clients.
