Paul Lenert, new CEO of SkyCom Telematics Systems
SkyCom Telematics Systems, a specialised company in the development of professional vehicle geolocation systems, has appointed Paul Lenert as new CEO, working alongside the company founder, Claude Lenert.

For Claude Lenert, the recruitment of the new chief executive marks a high point in the evolution of the company: “The pace of our development makes it necessary to adapt our current business structure. Before joining SkyCom, Paul Lenert held the roles of member of the board and chief executive officer at “Saint-Paul Luxembourg S.A” and director of the “Luxemburger Wort” newspaper after being deputy editor-in-chief and head of its economics and finance section. Aged 48, Paul Lenert holds a master’s degree in economics from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School in Boston.
SkyCom Telematics Systems, based in Niederdonven, was founded 20 years ago by engineering graduate Claude Lenert (age 51). Before he started SkyCom, Claude Lenert was working at the German company Dornier in Friedrichshafen.
The tailor-made GPS vehicle geolocation systems and the software system WinFleet, which SkyCom developed itself, enables companies to better manage their fleet of vehicles. More than 10,000 lorries, vans, cars and machines are now fitted with SkyCom geolocation systems. A recent survey showed that all of their customers, without exception, would recommend SkyCom’s services.
