Goodyear also received the prestigious certification in eleven other countries across its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region including Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. Goodyear Europe was awarded with the certificate as well for the sixth time.

As an independent HR certification company, the Top Employers Institute assesses participants through their global HR Best Practices Survey. In order to be certified, organizations must successfully achieve the required minimum standard as set out by the ‘Top Employers Institute’ and Goodyear has once again exceeded these requirements.

Pawel Miloszewski, HR manager for R&D and administration for Goodyear Luxembourg, said: “Our first priority has and will always be our people. Having the right HR practices in place helps us retain our skilled associates and to attract new talent to join our team. The certification by the Top Employer Institute is a significant recognition for us.”

Coralie Piaia, HR manager for the Luxembourg Tire Plant, added: “The Certification allows us to benchmark with other successful companies in the market and to learn in which areas we can further improve as an employer committed to excellence. It also provides us with the ability to leverage our employer branding to attract and retain the best talent.”

Headquartered in the Netherlands, the Institute has recognized Top Employers around the world since 1991. David Plink, CEO at the Top Employers Institute commented: “We believe that the 2019 certified organizations demonstrate exceptional employee conditions and encourage the development of these practices by putting their people first. These companies help enrich the world of work with their outstanding dedication to HR excellence and because of this, they are recognized as an employer of choice.”
