This year, following an assessment by an independent auditor, the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg joined the select list of companies singled out for this distinction. The BNP Paribas Group was also certified at the national level in Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Spain and Turkey, thus obtaining the "Top Employer Europe 2016 " label.

In Luxembourg, particularly high marks were awarded for four of the audit criteria: workforce planning, talent strategy, learning and development, and career management.

Commenting, Patrick Gregorius, Head of Human Resources at the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg, said: "As the largest employer in the Luxembourg financial industry, we are delighted with this award. It acknowledges the quality of our human resources policies and working conditions, which we can be truly proud of. The Top Employers distinction rewards our constant efforts to build a working environment that encourages the wellbeing and development of our staff so that they can serve clients to the best of their abilities".
