Deloitte Luxembourg welcomes 250 young talents
Since 1 September, some 250 new talents have joined Deloitte Luxembourg and its main business functions audit, tax as well as advisory and consulting. Over the year, around 650 new trainees, juniors and senior professionals have joined the firm – a trend which is expected to continue.
True to tradition, Deloitte Luxembourg facilitates the integration process of its entry-level recruits through an induction program. Organized for the fifth consecutive year, a full week-long intensive program allows new graduates to have a first contact with the firm and their new colleagues. Comprising business-oriented and technical training courses, teambuilding activities as well as soft skill trainings under the sun of Antalya in Turkey, the induction week is a perfect platform to learn, network, enjoy and prepare for the challenges ahead. A novelty this year: Yves Francis, Deloitte Luxembourg’s Managing Partner, as well as Benjamin Collette in his role as Talent Leader, attended the first days of the induction week.
Benjamin Collette comments: “Attracting new and qualified talents from many different countries is a priority for our firm, as our people make the difference. That is why we continuously invest in our talents and help them grow personally, professionally and together as a team.” Yves Francis adds: “In order to prepare for challenges that our consultants, tax experts and auditors have to face on a daily basis, it is key to first provide them with effective training and necessary tools as well as connect them to our firm's network of industry experts. It was important for Benjamin and myself to be present in this crucial phase, welcoming the new recruits and accompanying their first steps within our firm.”
To provide an environment that offers constant learning opportunities, Deloitte Luxembourg further offers access to technical certifications and sponsors professional qualifications across its main functions, including comprehensive support to access the professions of Réviseurs d’Entreprises and Experts Comptables. Over the last 12 months, close to 72,000 hours of training were organized and delivered. In addition, the firm proposes other learning possibilities through knowledge-sharing initiatives as well as internal and international mobility programs, allowing staff to broaden their horizons by moving to a different department or country.
