The foundation "Kriibskrank Kanner" is committed to helping children with cancer and other rare illnesses. Their aim is to provide direct assistance to families and to improve the quality of life of the children in hospital and at home. A cheque was remitted to the representatives, Mrs Anne Goeres and Mrs Veerle Dierick. This year, the funds will serve in particular to develop research into finding more efficient treatments in the field of paediatric oncology. Visit the website of the foundation

The association "Pour un Sourire d'Enfant a.s.b.l." supports children living in poverty in Cambodia, through food aid, material assistance, housing and education. A cheque has been remitted to the representative, Mrs Marie-Hélène Trouillez. This year, the funds will serve in particular to help to rehouse families in situations of extreme distress who have been evicted from their homes. Visit the website of the association

The funds were raised via the registration fees for the Arendt Financial Law Forum, which took place on 15 October 2014 at Mondorf-les-Bains. The event was attended by more than 100 people, legal experts and other decision makers in the financial sector. Arendt Financial Law Forum is a unique opportunity to meet and to enable these professionals to be informed by national and international specialists in respect of legal developments regarding regulatory or tax developments which have an impact on their activity.

Since 2011, the traditional remittances of funds have resulted in donations totalling €88,000 being presented to these two wonderful organisations.
