Arthur Welter Transports get the "Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Products for the Human Use" certificate
In 2013 Arthur Welter Transports get the "Good Distribution Practices for Pharmaceutical Products for the Human Use" certificate. It is one of the first companies to obtain this quality label in Luxembourg.
This certification is based on the requirements of the guidelines edited in the Official Journal of the European Union. It demonstrates that Arthur Welter Transports puts its knowledge into practice to maintain the quality and the integrity of medicinal products.
Our dispatchers are able to advise customers in order to ensure a high level of service depending of the goods transported.
Our drivers are educated and trained to protect the pharmaceutical products from external contamination and to guarantee a consistent temperature during carriage.
Our trailers are equipped with innovative communication systems, which allow temperature monitoring in real time. All their movements can be tracked and traced and the door opening recorded. An alert system can be set up in case of temperature excursion with a direct access given to the customer if needed.
Our refrigerated trailers are regularly maintained by experts and temperature monitoring equipment systematically checked. If any problem should still occur, we have a partnership with specialist refrigeration servicing having a strong network all over Europe, providing a prompt intervention.
Arthur Welter Transport works closely with its customers and partners to optimize the flow between each link in the Pharmaceutical supply chain.
