Online Marketplace Designed to Connect Charterers and Aircraft Operators

Abiria Sarl, a start-up company based in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, announced today that it launched its private jet marketplace “Abiria.com”. The marketplace is designed to connect private and corporate travellers, as well as agencies and brokers, to aircraft operators and to allow them to charter private jets online.
The marketplace is designed to suit the needs of the charterers as well as the needs of the aircraft operators. Charterers can create flight requests and receive quotes from the operators. They can then review the quotes and the operators, choose the right service provider and book through the marketplace. Aircraft operators can search for and review the flight requests to find new opportunities to sell flight hours. Additionally they can create profiles and present their company, their fleet and their services.
“We have worked long and hard to launch the site. We have big plans for the future and will be adding new features on a regular basis” says Guillaume Schaack, CEO of Abiria.com. “This is only the very first version of the system, and we are full of ideas to make the site even better. At the same time we encourage all the users to provide feedback and own ideas for future releases.”
Aircraft operators are encouraged to sign up to the system to receive notifications about new flight requests. Travellers and charterers should also try the system and see for themselves how well it works. The system is free of charge for the users, only aircraft operators will be charged a 5% commission if one of their quotes is accepted by a charterer.
