These results were reflected across the firm’s three main functions - audit, tax and advisory & consulting - and come after two successive years of revenue growth. In 2011 and 2012, the firm posted a revenue increase of 8% and 10% respectively. Over recent years, Deloitte’s strategic objectives around clients, talent, quality and innovation have been instrumental in this achievement.
“The strong growth of our revenues observed again in the last financial year reinforces our confidence in the business model we have consistently been deploying over the years. It bears testimony to the relentless focus we place on quality service delivery and closeness with the true preoccupations of our clients. Our capacity to accompany our clients as they navigate challenging times and to deliver a range of services uniquely tailored to their evolving needs, are distinctive strengths in the current market environment”, says Yves Francis, Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg.
Over the same period, the firm pursued a consistent strategy to invest in attracting and developing talented professionals to support its business development and experienced a net increase in headcount of nearly 230 people, some 20% as compared to the previous year end. With a workforce of more than 1,550 professionals, Deloitte Luxembourg ranks among the most sought-after employers in the country, as is witnessed by the 150 young graduates joining the firm in September this year to start their professional careers.
Raymond Krawczykowski, partner and talent leader at Deloitte Luxembourg, explains: “Delivering superior services to our clients and bringing innovative solutions to the market is at the heart of what we do. It is therefore paramount to continuously invest in creating a compelling learning environment and articulate best-of-breed development solutions for our talent. Our strong commitment to support and promote the emergence of a corporate university for all Deloitte professionals in Europe is a clear sign in this direction.”

Deloitte member firms experienced growth across all three major geographic regions, Asia Pacific, the Americas, and the EMEA, as well as across all business lines and industry sectors, with particulary strong growth in consulting and other advisory services.
In the past financial year, the network hired 51,400 professionals; its total workforce now exceeds 200,000 professionals, which marks a significant milestone for the organisation.
