Regional Tourist Office of the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland: Review of 2023 and outlook for 2024
The General Assembly of the Regional Tourist Office of the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland took place at the Lycée Classique in Echternach.
The new president, Carole Hartmann, welcomed all those present and expressed her delight that value-orientated tourism is taking place in the region. She described the Mullerthal Trail with almost 212,000 hikers last year as an absolute success story.
With the new masterplan, the regional tourist office has given itself an excellent tool to further promote active tourism, commemorative and cultural tourism and nature tourism accessible to all. The President thanked her predecessor, Christophe Origer, as well as all the volunteers in the region and paid a big compliment to the management and the ORT team for their work.
Deputy Managing Director Konstanze Liskow spoke about the wide range of activities and projects in the 2023 and presented the financial report, the budget and the projects for 2024.
The representative of the Ministry of Economy - Directorate General for Tourism, Luis Soares, congratulated the regional tourist office on its work. He praised the excellent networking in the region with all partners and wished the ORT a successful 2024.
