At the very heart of PwC is the commitment to offer excellent services to its clients. In Corporate Finance, PwC helps organisations to create value through mergers, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and capital raisings, working with clients to develop the right strategy before the deal, identify issues and points of negotiation during the deal and make sure the implementation will create value after the deal. This is only possible through the team of experts, who have helped to make PwC Luxembourg unrivalled in the Grand Duchy. And while having the right resources and skills to do this is critical, having a wealth of experience and a broad network adds further value to our clients.

Before joining PwC as a partner, Pierre was successively Environmental Engineer, Director of an engineering company (PROgena SA), Managing Director (PwC Sc) and Real Estate Lead Advisor (Arendt & Medernach SA).

Over his career, Pierre has acted as advisor to decision-makers and senior executives in Real Estate organisations of every size. He is well versed in several areas of the real estate industry, with a focus on technical topics and transaction management.

Pierre is a trusted Real Estate Advisor with strong market coverage and extensive integration in the Luxembourg Real Estate network. He reinforces the already strong Alternatives team at PwC, with his local market clients, deep local network, knowledge and insight. Of note is that he was previously part of engineering firms as well as financial and legal consulting firms at managerial level, resulting in a unique combination of background and skills.

Pierre holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and is specialised in Real Estate. He is a Belgian citizen and speaks English and French. In terms of professional associations, he is a member of the AMCHAM Real Estate Committee, and he is a BREEAM International Assessor.

Pierre Wauthier, Advisory Partner,  Corporate Finance, Real Estate PwC Luxembourg, says: “Bringing my experience to an existing highly skilled Corporate Finance, Advisory, Tax and Audit teams will further strengthen outstanding services capabilities for our clients”

Grégoire Huret, Corporate Finance Leader, PwC Luxembourg, says: “I am very excited to welcome Pierre in my team to support our strong growth in Real Estate and Alternatives more generally and to further support the local market with a unique combination of expertise.”

René Paulussen, Alternatives Leader, PwC Luxembourg, says: “We are delighted to welcome Pierre. With his varied and multi-disciplinary expertise in the real estate industry (real estate transaction and due diligence, sustainable development, renewable energy), and his wealth of knowledge and connections in the Benelux market, Pierre will be indispensable to serving local, regional and international real estate and real assets clients, and to further elevate PwC Luxembourg's expertise in the market.”

In addition to Pierre Wauthier, PwC Luxembourg announced in June 2023 18 New Partners and 5 new Managing Directors.  The campaign to get to know the other 18 new partners will be launched on September 18. So stay tuned !
