Arval Luxembourg achieves strong fleet growth of 11% in 2022
In 2022, Arval strengthened its position as a major player on Luxembourg’s operational lease market for vehicles and sustainable transport solutions.
Its fleet grew by an impressive 11% during the year, taking the number of leased vehicles to over 13,500.
This growth, which exceeds the trend for Luxembourg’s operational leasing market, reinforces the Arval Beyond strategy and attests to the expert advice and quality of service provided each day.
Overview of Arval Luxembourg’s solutions in 2022
Arval Luxembourg lives up to its promise of supporting electric mobility.
Electric and hybrid vehicles accounted for almost 37% of total orders recorded by Arval Luxembourg in 2022, up from 30% in 2021.
Arval Luxembourg’s goal of facilitating access to electric and hybrid vehicles for companies, local authorities and individuals is reflected in an offer that combines:
operational leasing of electric/hybrid cars under competitive terms;
access to vehicles offering technological innovations that provide drivers with ever-greater autonomy;
easier access to electric charging infrastructure through the installation of charging points.
To help its clients move towards new transport solutions, Arval also launched Arval Bike Lease in 2022, leasing new e-bikes suitable for urban travel.
The Arval Mid Term Rental (1 to 24-month lease) continued to prove successful on the Luxembourg market, with the number of leases signed rising by 38% in 2022. This solution meets Luxembourg companies’ need for flexibility at a time when semiconductors are in short supply and deliveries are taking longer.
2022, Arval Luxembourg strengthened its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by extending its “1 Electrified Vehicle = 1 Tree” to all countries in which the company is present.
This initiative consists of planting one tree in Luxembourg for every electric and hybrid vehicle leased. The project is an excellent opportunity to take action to protect the forests and to commit to the preservation of biodiversity, while promoting the adoption of electrified vehicles.
“In the complex economic conditions of 2022, our expertise and tailored advice helped our clients choose the form of transport best suited to their needs. Making satisfaction our number one concern, we will continue down this path in 2023.
Guided by the Arval Beyond strategy, we are convinced that new mobility options are possible and appropriate. The launch of our Arval Bike Lease service reflected this and showed that in 2023 we are more determined than ever to offer a comprehensive range of solutions for improving our clients’ mobility”, said Véronique Bourgois, General Manager of Arval Luxembourg.
