DHL Express Luxembourg rolls out electric vans in Luxembourg
An important step towards DPDHL's Mission 2050 goal of zero logistics-related emissions.
DHL Express Luxembourg has launched 15 new electric delivery vehicles across Luxembourg, in addition to the 8 electric vehicles already deployed a few months ago. The vans will be operated from the DHL Express Contern depot, where they will be charged on site to serve Luxembourg.
Delivered to the Collé car leadership, these new Ford E-Transit vans have a range of 317 km, a 15m3 loading space and a possibility of fast charge time from 15 to 80% in 34 minutes, making them ideal for both urban and rural deliveries. These vehicles will help improve air quality in Luxembourg and reduce the overall emissions of DHL's clean fleet. The launch of these vehicles is an important step towards our goal of zero carbon emissions from logistics by 2050. LeasePlan is once again participating in this second wave of 100% electric commercial vehicle deliveries with DHL, a customer partner for more than 30 years in Luxembourg
