Savvy Mobility: The mobility on-demand software from Losch Luxembourg gets a makeover
Savvy Mobility, the mobility on-demand software for public transport and mobility providers in general, is taking off with a new name and identity after Losch Luxembourg acquired it in December 2020.
Savvy Mobility's extremely powerful algorithm solves the so-called "dial a ride" problem for mobility services (local public transport, cabs, ambulance services, etc.): It collects the requests of passengers who want to get from point A to point B and distributes them to the available vehicle supply. The SaaS (Software as a Service) platform is thus aimed at private and public mobility providers, enabling them to optimize their capacities of drivers and vehicles based on current demand.
To date, Savvy Mobility's customers include companies from Luxembourg, Italy, Austria and Portugal. With the new name and revamped brand identity, Losch sees good opportunities for entry into other foreign markets.
Savvy Mobility impresses with its simple operation. The software is built upon its three application areas: There is a driver application, a passenger application, and a backend application for management. The applications, which are networked in real time, allow a smooth mediation between the need for transport and the offer of transport as well as efficient fleet management of the respective operators.
The name "Savvy Mobility" stands for the intelligent and smart mobility of the future, made possible by the efficient use of information from a distributed intelligent software solution.
At the same time, the new logo is reminiscent of the letters "v" in the word "Savvy" as well as the streets and their intersections.
Savvy Mobility is an integral part of the Losch Digital Lab product portfolio. Losch Digital Lab was founded in 2018 with the mission to develop software tools for Losch Luxembourg as well as for other companies. Currently, Losch Digital Lab employs 40 people spread across its two locations in Kockelscheuer (Luxembourg) and Porto (Portugal). The management is in the hands of Roman Entinger.
