Satispay , the leading Italian Fintech for mobile payments, extends the capabilities of a customer'sdigital wallet with its new CARDS service. This allows Satispay users to view all loyalty cards, gift cards and documents in the app.With this new service, Satispay delivers on its mission to off er value-added services that revolve around the world of payments tosimplify people's lives.

With CARDS, it is very easy to enter all types of cards with a bar code into the Satispay app. This also allows a customer to pay forpurchases with the relevant cards, which further facilitates the shopping experience of Satispay users.

The service is extremely easy to use. A user only needs to scan or photograph the bar code of the relevant card(s). Once the cardsare stored within the app, they can be used any moment. Simply click directly on the card of interest to open it and view thebarcode to be shown at the checkouts at the time of payment or put it under a scanner when using a cash machine.

Satispay has over three hundred and fift y merchants signed up in Luxembourg including Paris8, Ferber, The MansoGroup,Concept+Partners, Urban Bar, Bazaar Bar and Restaurant, Bistrot Beim Renert, Maestri Della Pasta, Häagen-Dazs, Kaempff -KholerBoutiques and Restaurants. A team of 25 locally based Satispay employees supports not only them but also the thousands ofconsumers that already use the mobile payment on a regular basis. This success now inspires Satispay to accelerate its growthand European expansion from Luxemburg.

Alberto Dalmasso said : “We have a special bond with Luxembourg as we chose the country to open our European headquartersand to register our Electronic Money Institution license. Luxembourg has proven to be an excellent choice, as it is an idealmulticultural testing ground for Satispay to roll out our off ering. Moreover, the country enables us to eff iciently look at theFrench and German markets. The success here has sparked our ambition: not only do we want to double the number ofLuxembourg customers and merchants by 2022, we also want to become the European market leader in digital payment over thenext 5 years.”

With more than 1.8 million consumers and 160 000 merchants across the 3 countries it is currently active in –Luxembourg,Germany and Italy - Satispay has grown tremendously on an international level as well. Last year alone, it managed to double thenumber of merchants in its network.
