Banque de Luxembourg now offering Apple Pay
Banque de Luxembourg is now offering its clients Apple Pay, a safe and private way to pay using their iPhone or Apple Watch.
Banque de Luxembourg is expanding its offer to include Apple Pay, a safe and private way for clients to pay for purchases without handing over their payment card, touching physical buttons or exchanging cash – with the added benefit of powerful iPhone technology to secure every transaction.
All clients need to do to make a contactless payment is hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near the payment terminal. Every Apple Pay transaction is secured using Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode, as well as a unique dynamic security code. Apple Pay is accepted by numerous retailers, including supermarkets, pharmacies, taxis, restaurants, cafés, boutiques and more.
It can also be used on the client’s iPhone, iPad or Mac as an easier, faster way to pay in many apps or online via Safari, without having to create accounts or keep re-entering their shipping and billing details. Apple Pay is also a convenient way to pay for services like food and grocery deliveries, online purchases, travel tickets and parking, as well as Apple Watch in-app purchases.
Apple Pay is designed for the utmost security and privacy. When clients use Apple Pay, their credit or debit card details are not stored on the device or on Apple servers. Instead, a unique account number is created, encrypted and stored safely on the device.
Setting up Apple Pay is easy. On iPhone, simply open the Wallet app, tap the “+” sign and follow the steps to add a Banque de Luxembourg credit or debit card. As soon as a client has added a card to their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac, they can use Apple Pay with their device.
When using Apple Pay, clients will continue to enjoy all the benefits of their Banque de Luxembourg cards.
The addition of Apple Pay reflects Banque de Luxembourg’s ongoing commitment to placing clients at the heart of its digital strategy. By offering this service, Banque de Luxembourg continues to meet its clients’ changing needs and ensure a better user experience.
