EU handicrafts shared with passion
As a platform for handmade products from the EU, HANDIEU’s mission is to help handicrafters find a wider audience for their products and so support them in their businesses venture.
Agnieszka Marecka, founder of HANDIEU, has a mission to help support handicrafters in building successful businesses and thereby also supporting the European economy as a whole.
In creating this platform, she said, ‘I would like to develop a platform that truly supports the market. I am hoping to find more people who feel the same – to build strong community around it...and small businesses which are an engine for the whole economy.’
HANDIEU also highlights that handcrafts are a solution to many social groups that have limited access to the market, e.g. stay-at-home mothers, people with disabilities, people living in remote villages, elderly people, young artists, and immigrants. Creating a platform for their products will not only help them construct a business, but also share beautiful and unique pieces of art for the benefit of culture as a whole.
