Kamel Amroune has been named CEO of Farvest and from now on will head the operations of the b2b events & marketing leader in Luxembourg. He thus succeeds Fabien Amoretti, the founder of the agency, whose mission will now focus on accompanying non-tech sectors in a context of digital transformation.

"This transition is a recognition of the work I've been doing for the past ten years, but it is also a great opportunity for the agency to implement a new strategy and benefit all the ecosystems we are part of. The 2018-2020 road will combine a reorganization and redefinition of the historical activities and an acceleration of the development focusing on fast-growing sectors: we will continue to innovate while keeping our one-of-a-king heritage" explains Kamel Amroune. The new CEO aims at strengthening the promotion of Luxembourg and its many initiatives across the borders of the country, while keeping Farvest's DNA, which allowed the agency to meet success over the past 17 years: information, emulation and networking. Kamel Amroune also wishes to reinforce the collaboration with local and international partners. He adds: "The growth of Farvest depends mainly on the excellence of its network – we have more than 400.000 local and international contacts – but also on the alignment of our activities with private and public partners".

"We have a young and dynamic team, yet composed of experimented profiles. Over the last 18 months, true leaders have actually emerged and we have to make room for them so that they can truly express themselves, develop their decision-making skills and show their creativity and innovative mindsets. 2017 was actually the best year in Farvest's history - since its creation in 2000 - with an increase in our growth and profitability rates of more than 15%: it is the perfect timing for a change" underlines the former CEO. After launching the space activities of the agency, Fabien Amoretti will from now on focus on human capital activities. The HR sector is currently facing a deep and never-seen-before transformation, with a growing lack of talent and the advent of new and mature technologies, in a context of economic growth.

Kamel Amroune has a Master's Degree in the Science of Marketing Services. From Longwy, France, he crossed the Luxembourg border and joined Farvest in 2007 where he first focused on developing the IT One community thanks to an ever-growing network of CIOs and ICT experts. Three years later, he founded ICT Spring with Fabien Amoretti: this event has now become the biggest tech summit organized in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Passionate about IT, FinTech and startups, Kamel has developed a dense and fruitful ecosystem though conferences and hackathons, mainly focusing on the themes of finance and new technology. In early 2018, he became CEO of Farvest Group to further develop his leadership and aura in these sectors.

Fabien Amoretti graduated from the national insurance school in France (Ecole Nationale d'Assurances) and has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, media and events management. After several positions in Paris, he worked as Head of Marketing for the insurance company Euresa-Life, in Luxembourg from 1997 to 2000. He then left to found Farvest in June 2000 with the goal to develop sectoral marketing and the organization of b2b events in Luxembourg. The first community he created was HR One: others followed in more than ten different sectors. His ability to envision and launch events and entire ecosystems resulted in a portfolio of more than 30 digital brands and events. Since 2010, ICT Spring, Morpheus Cup or Space Forum have progressively extended the activities of the agency across borders. In 2018, in order to focus on the digital transformation of non-tech sectors, he named Kamel Amroune CEO of Farvest Group.
