LuxairTours adapts its flight plan for summer 2016, strengthening Madeira, Canary Islands and Malaga
Luxair has decided to adapt its flight plan for the summer 2016. To address security risks in some countries, LuxairTours will increase frequencies to destinations in particularly strong demand among its customers
A second weekly frequency will be added to Funchal (Madeira) and a third to Tenerife (Canary Islands). LuxairTours is also planning an additional flight to Malaga (Costa del Sol), each of these three additional frequencies subject to obtaining the required airport slots.
LuxairTours had planned to offer Chania this summer as a second Cretan destination, but had to renounce due to a lack of airport slots. However this allows a capacity increase to its destination Heraklion.
In Tunisia, LuxairTours will concentrate on the Island of Djerba for the summer season 2016 and will not fly to Enfidha.
Hurghada, in Egypt, will no longer be featured in LuxairTours’ offer for the summer 2016. LuxairTours customers who booked this destination may cancel their stay or choose another LuxairTours destination at current conditions and rates, with a discount.
