ING in Morocco as part of the official economic mission organized last week
ING Luxembourg is proud to have been one the companies that participated in the economic mission of the Grand-Duchy in Morocco organised by the Chamber of Commerce, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Economy on 27 and 28 April. With a delegation of 48 companies, this mission was one of the most important organized these years.
On the occasion, the Bank was represented by its CEO Luc Verbeken and Private Banker Yves Ducaté, responsible for the Moroccan market.
Famous for its expertise in wealth management, ING Luxembourg was very active in 2014 in the « contribution libératoire », a Moroccan regularization law allowing people who needed it to regularize the assets held outside Morocco, in close collaboration with both the « Office des Changes » and the « Direction Générale des Impôts marocaine ».
Last week during the economic mission, Luc Verbeken and Yves Ducaté met many prospects and clients and had the opportunity to compare our Private Banking offer with the needs expressed by the Moroccans who hold assets abroad, by Moroccan companies looking for international development or by foreigners living in Morocco.
« This mission in Morocco allowed us to see that interest is considerable and that the expertise and the wealth management tools of the Luxembourg financial center perfectly match the needs of certain Moroccan citizens. And ING is happy to contribute to the development and export of this know-how, to the great benefit of our clientele. », Luc Verbeken explained.
