Human Capital Europe - The place where human capital, business and technology align

en

After the success of the phygital edition of ICT Spring - the international tech summit broadcasted from Luxembourg - and to comply with the latest health restrictions, Farvest (B2B event and marketing agency), has decided to renew this hybrid experience and to turn Human Capital Europe, the biggest B2B gathering dedicated to the human resources sector in Luxembourg, into a phygital event. In the current context, Farvest wishes to highlight that even though a traditional gathering can’t happen this year, HR professionals need - now more than ever- to share, connect and learn from their peers.

This year, Human Capital Europe, the international people-oriented conference, will be held next November 26th and be fully available online from all around the world, from conferences and exhibitions to networking sessions.

Top-notch speakers and digital networking sessions

While respecting all the sanitary measures, local and international high level speakers are invited to participate physically on site and will benefit from a professional TV studio setup. Thanks to BCE (Broadcasting Europe Center is a European leader in media services, system integration and software development in the areas of television, radio, production and postproduction, telecommunication and IT), the speakers will be able to share their best HR practices and experiences to a wider and broader audience. Live talk shows will also be organised to favour the exchange of expertise between speakers and participants.

This year, Human Capital Europe will start with a morning session entitled “The leaders of tomorrow are not the ones you expect”. The experts will discuss the new ways companies are operating, share best practices in terms of crisis management, debate about atypical profiles and focus on how companies can benefit from recruiting them. Among the speakers who already confirmed their participation, Alex Staniforth, a young British adventurer will discuss the life challenges we face as well as the need to get out of one comfort zone and Emmanuelle Joseph-Dailly, contributor to Business Harvard Review, who will focus on impertinent profiles and how those atypical profiles can change the way an organization operates.

Then, “HR reloaded” will be the topic of the afternoon. The singularity of the period we are currently living in invites HR professionals to redefine their habits, their practices and their values. How can human resources professionals approach this new era and learn from this situation? Speakers will address the digital transformation of the sector (which has accelerated while readjusting during the health crisis), the employee engagement and motivation (people strategy, teleworking and coming back to the office) and the need for agility in the HR sector. The HR Summit will feature, among others, Thomas Møller Lybæk (HR Process Innovation Director of LEGO Group) and Katarina Berg (Chief Human Resources Officer of Spotify).

As a business-enabling event, Human Capital Europe is known for its qualitative networking sessions. Even though participants won’t be able to attend physically, they will still be able to exchange with their peers and discuss the latest trends while developing new business relations. To provide the visitors with such a unique experience, the organizers have created a platform, available from all around the world, creating business matches with the use of an algorithm, depending on the preferred sectors, industries and expertise.

Exhibitions areas, with innovative booths and unique visitor experiences, have also been key elements of Human Capital Europe (formerly known as HR One Gala) since its very first edition more than 15 years ago. Virtual booths will be available for the event partners, with the opportunity to directly engage with participants and present their innovative services, one device to another, through a live chat. Contact the team right now to enlist and highlight your latest innovations.

The event will end with the official Luxembourg HR Awards Ceremony where a total of 9 prizes will be distributed to local HR professionals, recognizing their best practices, projects and initiatives. Moreover, a specific prize will be awarded this year: the Extraordinary HR Support award promotes an extraordinary HR initiative, implemented during the COVID-19 public health crisis, that supported the company/ its employees and that contributed to the organisation's agility and resilience.
