LuxTrust has opened its subsidiary “LuxTrust France” in Paris
The trust services company LuxTrust opened its French subsidiary on 9 January in the presence of Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Health of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
LuxTrust thus confirms its international positioning and the pan-European strategy pursued with its partner InfoCert.
Continuous expansion
In the presence of its shareholders, partners, customers and the Minister, LuxTrust opened its French subsidiary, “LuxTrust France”, located on the Avenue des Champs Elysées in the centre of Paris on 9 January. The company, which manages the digital identity and trust services of all Luxembourg citizens and companies, thus extends beyond the borders of that country and brings its expertise to the French market on matters such as digital identity management, complete dematerialisation of processes and electronic signature.
A strategic choice
“Establishing ourselves in Paris is a strategic choice to meet the proximity needs of our growing number of French clients and partners,” said Astrid Clausse, Sales Director of “LuxTrust France”, with delight.
Growing along with partners
“While LuxTrust's core business was initially focused on digital identity and trust services, we have since extended our digital solutions to meet the challenges of companies in full. These solutions address issues such as document management, multiple signatures and personal information management. Their effective application can only be achieved with the help of strong and committed partners which we are delighted to have already in France,” said Pascal Rogiest, CEO of LuxTrust.
A round table discussion on digital identity took place on the occasion of the opening with Marco Di Luzio, CMO of InfoCert (Italy), Kris de Ryck, CEO of itsme® (Belgium), Cédric Clément, Head of the Digital Pole of the Caisse de Dépôts et Consignations (France) and Etienne Combet, co-founder of SEALWeb. Discussions focused on the evolution of digital identity and trust services with the objective of interoperability of systems in Europe.
A Luxembourg company becomes European
“Today LuxTrust is one of the many factors which for so long have made Luxembourg a preferred location for the digital market and innovative digital trust services. Henceforth we are no longer talking about a Luxembourg company, but about a European company,” said Deputy Prime Minister Etienne Schneider during his speech.
With a shareholder structure composed 50% of the Italian company InfoCert, a member of the TINEXTA group, with offices in Paris and Brussels, LuxTrust makes no secret of its ambition to confirm with InfoCert and Camerfirma their position as the European leader in digital trust services, while ensuring a local presence and trust in priority geographies, including France.
