At the very heart of PwC is the commitment to offer excellent services to its clients. The firm does this by nurturing a culture that develops outstanding professionals. These, in turn, bring the insights and the value that builds trust with clients and helps to solve their important problems. With this in mind, over the past 15 years, Nicolas Lefevre has led the Academy and positioned it as the leading provider of business training in Luxembourg, serving over 10,000 clients annually.  Further, the continued evolution and relevance of Academy to client needs remains clear with growth of 15% in each of the past 2 years.  Having achieved this, Nicolas has now decided to pursue his future career outside the firm and PwC Luxembourg is hugely appreciative of what he has done to build this legacy.

PwC Luxembourg is therefore pleased to announce the appointment of Etienne Hirsch as the new Head of PwC's Academy. Etienne Hirsch, a seasoned expert in the Training Industry and former PwC Advisory Director with over 20 years of proven track record, will lead PwC's Academy on its continued evolution.

“Our positioning within PwC demonstrates our commitment to help our clients address their learning and development challenges. In today’s fast evolving and increasingly digital economy, we leverage PwC’s distinctive technical, interpersonal and technological expertise to design, tailor and deliver high impact and innovative learning journeys,”  said Etienne Hirsch.

François Génaux, Advisory leader added, “With more than 50 years of experience in the Luxembourg market, solid credentials and a team combining deep industry knowledge and professional experience, we believe PwC is best placed to assist all actors of the market  in driving their business forward and helping them to respond to the educational and upskilling needs. This is only possible if  we remain continuously creative and use the latest recognised methodologies and tools. Reinforcing PwC's Academy as a key component of our firm's practice is critical for us to realise our purpose to solve complex issues, foster long-term relationships and create the value our clients are looking for. ”
