The 30th of September 2019, Jean Racine, Chief Business Development Officer, left Labgroup after 45 years of professional activities to move towards new horizons and engage in new projects. He nonetheless remains a part-time non-executive Director and continues to serve as a consultant for the company.

The management of Labgroup acknowledges Jean Racine for his dedication to the company, his professionalism and his valuable work during all these years; especially for the eight years he spent at Labgroup as Chief Business Development Officer.

The succession of Jean Racine is ensured since June 2019 by Micaël Weber, former Global Business Development Manager at LuxTrust S.A., who will take over the commercial functions held by Jean Racine.

After a three-year experience with Dell as Sales Manager, Micaël Weber served as Head of International Business Development at Teralink Solutions, POST Luxembourg for 9 years (2008 to 2017) and then joined LuxTrust S.A.

The Labgroup Board of Directors chose Micaël Weber, for his professional experience and success, to entrust him with the leadership of Labgroup’s sales department.

As a new member of Labgroup's management team, Micaël Weber pursues the company's future challenges such as the company's move to a brand new building in Grass early next year. This building, the “Digital Transition Hub”, will consolidate Labgroup's historical services (document archiving, destruction services, etc.) as well as its innovative digital transition solutions (PSDC archiving, digital signature, on-demand scanning, etc.).

As third-party archivist for 42 years, Labgroup has invested in this new hub to offer a full range of digital services to its clients, with the expertise of its digital transition consultants. Labgroup is, therefore, evolving to support its clients’ digital transition and to provide them with end-to-end solutions in this field.
