Deloitte appoints 15 new Partners and Managing Directors

In line with the firm’s drive towards growth, while retaining its position as market leader in cornerstone industries, Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed eleven new Partners and four new Managing Directors.

Deloitte Luxembourg recently announced the appointment of its newest Partners and Managing Directors, with effect from 1 June 2019.

With these appointments, the firm now counts 120 Partners and Managing Directors, all engaged in the leadership of the firm’s some 2,350 professionals.

New Partners

Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed the following individuals to Partner:

Maude Bologne joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2005. She has worked in Tax Compliance since 2012. She is an active member of the EMEA Center of Excellence for real estate (RE) funds, providing solutions to RE players looking to outsource the coordination and delivery of their back-office functions.

Charles Delancray joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2007 and is an expert in technology-related services. He is known for his expertise in IT transformation projects, notably for his capacity to lead large scale assignments. He is responsible for the network interaction and co-ordination of Deloitte’s services to the European Institutions.

Mélanie Delvaux joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2006 and speacializes in international tax planning for multinational companies. She covers a wide variety of international and local tax matters, with a specific focus on cross-border tax planning for outbound Canadian-based clients and clients based in the United Kingdom.

Nicolas Devergne joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2005 and is an integral part of the Cross-Border Tax team. He serves a range of corporate clients based in the United States and in the EMEA region. His field of expertise is in international tax, establishing repatriation strategies, and assisting group reorganizations from inception to implementation.

Irina Hedea joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2005. She continues to make a positive impact in the Risk Advisory team, primarily focusing on IT risk advisory services. Her specific expertise covers information security governance and IT topics relating to risk management, regulatory, outsourcing and cloud computing. She is also an expert in GDPR / data protection, business continuity management, and digital trust services.
 

Jérôme Sosnowski joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2011 and is a key player in the firm’s Risk Advisory practice. He specializes in Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, and Service Organization Controls reports. He is active in investment management, banking, re/insurance, and the European Institution industries.

Jeremy Spoidenne joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2004, initially as an expert in commercial and industrial companies’ audits in LuxGaap and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He has spent the past six years in the Tax department providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to entrepreneurs, small and medium sized businesses, family businesses, and high net worth individuals (HNWIs), as well as public sector entities.

Cédric Tussiot joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2004 and is one of the leading members in the Indirect Tax - Value Added Tax (VAT) - department. He mainly serves clients in the alternative investment industry, particularly private equity (PE) and RE groups. His field of expertise covers fund and transaction structuring, due diligence, VAT advice, and VAT compliance. He is also in charge of development in the Indirect Tax digital services offering.

Yann Mérillou joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2007 in the Audit department. He is a réviseur d’entreprises agréé and specializes in auditing various types of Undertakings for Collective Investments in Transferable Securities (UCITS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and management companies. He is an expert in fund and management company governance matters and active in leading technology and automation projects for the audit of funds.

Ludovic Mosca joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2006 in the Audit department. He is a réviseur d’entreprises agréé, and a Luxembourg Expert Comptable, mainly serving clients in the manufacturing and commercial industries. He has expertise in serving clients seeking the issuance of debt instruments and initial public offering (IPO) on recognized stock exchanges.

Ronan Richard joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2005. He is a multi-faceted auditor with in-depth expertise in the insurance industry. He contributes to the deployment of audit transformation as project manager and is member of the Technology and Innovation Audit Steering Committee. He became a réviseur d’entreprises in 2015.

New Managing Directors

Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed the following individuals to Managing Director:

Alberto Olivero joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2007 and is a réviseur d’entreprises agréé, an Italian Certified Public Auditor and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He serves clients in the commercial and manufacturing business as well as the PE and RE industries.

Georges Wantz joined Deloitte in 2016 and works within the Technology and Enterprise Application team. He has extensive knowledge in data protection related matters. His areas of expertise cover fund services, custodian, retail and private banking activities, as well as project management and software development.

Valere Twagirayezu joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2011 and specializes in accounting, reporting and operating model optimization for RE funds. He promotes innovative and quality improvement projects, manages major clients, and coordinates Deloitte services on a pan-European basis.

Marleen Vandenput joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2013. She specializes in global mobility consulting and compliance services, including individual taxation in an international context, social security, and immigration - all rendered with a strong human resource/customer focus and knowledge of market practices.
