Deloitte Luxembourg elects its next Managing Partner
Last Friday, the partners at Deloitte Luxembourg gathered to elect the person who will replace Yves Francis when his second term comes to an end this spring. The partners united around John Psaila.
John Psaila has been elected as Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg for a four-year once renewable term starting from 1 June 2018. Until then, John Psaila and Yves Francis, Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg since 2010, will be working side by side to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
“With his multicultural background, clear judgement, and open mind, John is a perfect fit to lead a diverse firm like ours. He is known for being a human and fair leader, who is tough on the issue and soft on the person. John inspires trust and collaboration, and I know he will continue to strengthen cohesion across our service lines, independent of grade, profession, or culture,” comments Yves Francis, Managing Partner of Deloitte Luxembourg.
Loyal to Deloitte
John Psaila has built his entire career at Deloitte. He first joined Deloitte in 1995, and worked for two different Deloitte member firms before joining Deloitte Luxembourg in 2001. John Psaila was appointed a Partner within Deloitte Luxembourg’s audit practice in 2008 and was nominated to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2015. He is currently the firm’s Risk & Reputation Leader.
“It is a great honor for me to be elected as Yves Francis’s successor. We are blessed with a firm that has a wealth of experience, skills and great potential to further enhance our presence in the markets in which we operate, and our reputation as an employer of choice. This role comes with enormous responsibility that I will embrace with determination. I will continue to nurture the strong cohesion amongst our partners and our professionals and keep the focus on ensuring the distinct quality of our services,” states John Psaila.
