Gilberto Coimbra, Cargolux Regional Manager South East Asia accepted the award on behalf of the Cargolux team from Sachi Bala, Vice President of SATS Cargo during the annual AFLAS awards dinner.

Only recently, Cargolux was the first airline worldwide to be honored with the Lean & Green award for its commitment to improve its carbon efficiency by 10% within five years.

For many years, Cargolux has pioneered innovative concepts in the air cargo industry and explored new ways of pushing the boundaries. At the same time, the airline has consistently sought ways to lessen the impact of its activities on the environment as much as possible. A modern, quiet and efficient fleet and operational measures to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and noise pollution are just part of this concept.
