ING News: ING Luxembourg participates in the continuous training of bank employees from developing countries!

The approach is supported by Management, which relies on teams working in an organised manner and whose actions affect all the Bank’s stakeholders: employees, customers, and suppliers.
This approach is at the root of the bank's commitment, as evidenced by its involvement in training programmes for bank employees in developing countries.
One afternoon of training at ING Lux House
As part of the 5-day programme on SME financing, organised by the International Department of House of Training sponsored by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, an afternoon of training presented by Christian Moreels, Head of Retail General Banking & Savings, took place at ING Lux House, the new headquarters of ING Luxembourg.
On this occasion, Dominique Quinaux, Manager of the "Business" desk within Retail Banking, as well as his close collaborators and experts at the Bank, explained the approach and the procedures applied by ING to serve the SMEs. They addressed miscellaneous and varied themes that could concern this type of clientèle such as the establishment of a credit report, leasing possibilities, credit risk management and financing start-ups.
The 15 participants, bank employees from 7 countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, El Salvador, Georgia, Kosovo and Moldova) were very interested in the initiative and were delighted to be able to attend this afternoon event!
ING Luxembourg, for its part, is always open to such initiatives supported by the Government and is ready to continue promoting them, with the aim of sharing our expertise.
