Established in Luxembourg almost 10 years ago, the independent press relations and public relations agency, Keep Contact, has rolled out a range of high-added-value services in its different offerings. To further its excellence in client services, Keep Contact has announced that it is the first specialized communication company to work with Watson Explorer technology.

An intelligent tool
Developed by IBM, Watson Explorer is a cognitive technology, capable of processing structured and non-structured information. The program will allow Keep Contact to provide greater insight into business intelligence topics. Watson Explorer can search immense volumes of information, select relevant content (keywords, themes…), and create an initial analysis. Watson Explorer builds upon these tasks, integrating the knowledge it gains through searches and retains the learnings for future tasks. Watson Explorer’s technology is already highly utilized in the healthcare industry, where knowledge sharing is a priority. While communication professionals are only just starting to become interested in such technology, Keep Contact is already ahead of the game.

“Media monitoring, an engine for competition”
Each minute, 350,000 Tweets are shared, 2.78 million videos are viewed on YouTube and 150 million e-mails are sent. It is impossible to read, listen to, and see them all. “For companies in which communication is key, being able to take information and provide valuable insights is as equally important as knowing what is said about them and understanding their market. Media monitoring performs as a real engine for competition. With the help of Watson Explorer, the most efficient tool currently available on the market, our press reviews reach a level of excellence unequalled by the richness, relevance and added value of their content. This enables us to advise our clients better in their communication strategy and their relationship with the media”, summarises Ludivine Plessy, the Founder and Director of Keep Contact.

Serving client satisfaction
“With Watson Explorer, we are now able to offer media monitoring solutions that are accessible and personalised. We can tailor the reports to companies of any size across all business sectors. Watson Explorer enables us to create precise and substantive press reviews for clients. Client satisfaction and its on-going improvement lie at the very heart of what we do. It is our absolute priority”, outlines Catherine Plessy, Business Development Director of the agency.
